I did not throw any serious tools at that - it’s jpeg at the end and it’s source is unknown for me i just pulled out Gimp to see what that colorpicker picks up. Never use such source for more or less serious colorpicker test sourcebeds would be my advice, take it or leave it. What turns out is that of course somebody has tinkered with image in YT video while squeezing it into that, that’s later. No idea how close these are to the original, but quality and size is better.

On a successful day one can find The Image on wikimediaand amongst NASA pages. So this was why i was looking for this image to see it undistorted in any fashion. Especially when this image is a part of YT movie. I assume that you agree - any bit of bits shifting in digital image may ruin this particular image and yet there always will be a need to do exactly that. I had a bad Google day, but all could find one day on NASA was 640 by 400 image of it.

Or this might as well be just a privilege of some to see historical facts in a full size. So it is such an achievement, first image of the Earth taken from the Moon, yet there are less and less ways to remember this. This is a confusing thing, that is why I started this thread, to see if it was Linux failing here… So, if Kaguya images are real it means all the NASA images are not the real McCoy. The conspiracy-tards were called conspiracy-tards (and continue today, for example a few weeks ago Fox News I think it was said that the bombers in Boston believed in conspiracies, that obviously demonstrates conspiracy-tards are perilous people). It looks now as the Sahara desert or something, in only some years NASA is aligning now with the conspiracy-tards that always were saying that the colors on the rover shown that the colors of the images were incorrect. Well, NASA is just now showing a different mars with the 1 megapixel rover they are using.

They were in pride saying they had a NASA guy as a technical advisor for the movie so it was sooooo accurate in that and other things. The comments in the movie say that is exactly what the NASA guys said them Mars looks like if you were there. For example the Schwazenegger movie you can see Mars as a very dark red place. Are you sure that the greenish tint in that video is not due to the type or quality of the color calibration that is known to differ between different models
